when viewing tables that have a breakdown of key events for example and the names of those events - if you have the total value and can see that it's up or down from the previous period it would be helpful to see this broken down by the different metrics like the name of key event and where the increase or decrease was from. This also goes for a standard view of source / medium or channel. Which channel had a sudden drop in traffic, engagement or key events. Seeing at a high level is nice, but seeing it by individual metrics/dimensions would be better.
