BrightLocal - Add Local Search Grid

- Bright Local offers the "Search Grid Tool", which displays a client's local organic ranking in search engines for up to 5 keywords within an adjustable "grid" on a map (adjustable for 1 mile, 3 miles, 5 miles, etc). On each map point, you can see exactly how you rank for the chosen keyword in that specific area

If Brightlocal isn't an option for local heatmaps, look to Local Viking / Local Brand Manager. I have a feeling the team at that company would love to work with AA to get their heatmaps into AA reporting.

The main thing we were hoping for is to show our clients a "heatmap" of where their local listing is showing up.

Being able to pull these in would be a game changer for our reporting.

1000% agree. This is a must have for reporting today for local businesses.

If this isn't a priority for Agency Analytics to build themselves (a grid) then 100% we need an integration with another tool for this. Either BrightLocal or LocalFalcon. I'm surprised this isn't more of a priority

Mango Shrimp, this is the main reason we use BrightLocal! We feel like it's one of the most valuable tools to show a client. I've never posted in here and I'm not sure how the process works for them to add something to development.

Valuable Kangaroo: Mango Shrimp Thank you for your comments.
While we're excited about enhancing our services, I'm afraid we currently face limitations in implementing this feature.
BrightLocal's API documentation lacks any mention of the "local search grid,". While there might be alternative avenues to access this data in the future, we currently rely on third-party APIs to retrieve data, so BrightLocal would need to make this available.
Also, although our current front-end widget isn't equipped to display this specific type of information, we'd be open to explore the opportunity to develop them if BL makes this data accessible.
Rest assured that we carefully consider all comments and suggestions. Should there be any advancements regarding the implementation of this feature in the future, we'll be sure to keep you informed.
